Danny Ellis

Born on September 4, 1975, in Gallup New Mexico, Danny is the last of five children born to Alfred and Marylyn Ellis.  Taught to value education very early in life, Danny graduated from Freed-Hardeman University with university honors with a degree in History.  Upon graduation from Freed-Hardeman, Danny attended law school at Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, in Birmingham Alabama.

Seeking to have a complete education, Danny interned with the National Labor Relations Board, participated in school mock trial competitions, and was a member of the School's Moot Court Team.  While in law school, Danny received the scholar of merit award for several classes.  In addition to excelling in the classroom, Danny was an associate editor for the Cumberland School Law Review.

Having successfully completed law school and passed the Tennessee bar exam, Danny began practice in Jackson, Tennessee.  Focused primarily on personal injury work,  Danny has handled a wide variety of cases including motor vehicle accidents, accidents involving tractor-trailer vehicles, premises liability cases, and toxic pharmaceutical cases.  With the recent change in the worker's compensation laws, Danny still devotes a portion of his practice to caring for injured workers to ensure that they receive the compensation to which they are entitled.

Married to Jennifer Ellis, Danny has two children, Justin and Reagan.  Danny and Jennifer chose Jackson to raise their family, and have devoted their lives to giving back to the community.  Jennifer and Danny attend the North Jackson Church of Christ where they teach Sunday School and are involved with other church activities.  Danny is a board member of the Tennessee Children's Home and a board member of the Friend2Friend mentoring group.  Lastly, Danny is a city councilman for Jackson.
